As it looks right now, the final round of the women's league will be decided on Friday evening, November 4.

Supporters of several teams have on various forums expressed their dissatisfaction with playing the last round on a weekday as it means traveling to and from matches.

From that, a proposal has since emerged to instead play the last round the following day, Saturday 5 November.

However, there are a couple of potential obstacles.

On November 5, the last round of the men's super single is already planned.

In addition, both Brommapojkarna's men's and women's teams play at home in the last round, which means two games on the same day at Grimsta IP in Stockholm.

According to information that SVT Sport has received, the Brommapojkarna have, at the request of their supporters, found a solution where there are five hours between matches.

In that case, the women's match would start at 1 p.m. and the men's at 6 p.m.

As it is the final round, all matches in the respective series must start at the same time.

According to information given to SVT Sport, all women's Swedish teams agree on the new kick-off time and right now work is underway to see if the 16 teams in the super league are on the train to move the start of the match from 15.00 to 18.00.

- We are in the process of probing with the Superettan clubs and see what opportunities are available.

We are open to finding a solution, I can't answer what that solution will be until we have spoken to all the Superettan clubs, says Swedish Elite Soccer's league manager Ola Rydén to SVT Sport.

Is it leaning towards a new game date for the women's league?

- I first want to finish our internal process with the clubs before I make a statement.

We hope to be able to provide an answer to EFD (Elitfotboll ladies) before the end of the week.

Then it is good to know that it is the Swedish Football Association that makes the final decision, says Rydén.
