Shoma Uno, a figure skater and men's singles player, revealed his practice for the new season and said, "I want to be a person who can lead the competition."

Figure skating, men's single player Uno won the bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics in February last season, and won his first gold medal at the World Championships in March.

As for Uno, who is preparing for the new season.

On the 6th, the practice was opened to the public at Chukyo University in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, where he is based in Japan.

During the hour-long practice in front of the press, I first tried four types of quadruple jumps and triple axels to see how they felt.

Then, in line with Bach's "Aria on the G String" used in this season's free program, he confirmed movements such as a combination jump that jumped from a quadruple toe loop to a triple flip with Euler in between.

After practice, Uno, who responded to the interview, revealed that he is challenging two quadruple and a half jumps a day as an initiative for the future, and said, "Compared to a year ago, I took two or three steps. I'm happy that I'm making progress, but I still haven't grown enough.I want to go one step further this season."

And based on Yuzuru Hanyu turning professional, "Until now, I've been following Yuzu's back and unconsciously thought that it was fine. If Yuzu turns professional and doesn't participate in competitions, I think the popularity of the sport will decline, but I also feel that I can't stop what my seniors have passed on. I want to be someone who can pull people along," he said of his ambition.
