The Judicial Chamber of FIFA's Independent Ethics Committee has decided to ban Hubert Chua, the former Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Football Association's Referees Committee, from all football-related activities for a period of 5 years.

The punishment comes after Chuya was found guilty of abusing his position to sexually harass three referees in the Zimbabwe Football Association.

The Judicial Chamber, according to an official statement today, Thursday, imposed a fine of 20,000 Swiss francs on Hubert Chuia, after careful analysis of the written statements of the victims as well as the various evidence collected during the investigations conducted by the Investigation Chamber, according to the FIFA Media Center, Thursday.

The Judicial Chamber found that Aubert Chua had violated Section 23 (Protection of Physical and Mental Integrity), Section 25 (Abuse of Office) and as a result, Section 13 (Public Duties) of the Code of Ethics.

Chua was notified of the terms of the decision, today, the date the ban goes into effect, and will be followed by a notification of the reasons within 60 days in accordance with the Code of Ethics.
