The day before, Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Hag made it clear that he was counting on Ronaldo in the 2022/23 season.
Recall that in Turkey the transfer window closes on 7 September.
Manchester United's contract with Ronaldo is valid until June 2023.
The club finished sixth in the Premier League last season and will not qualify for the 2022/23 Champions League.
