The competitions of the 11th summer session of the football academies organized by the Dubai Sports Council in football stadiums, clubs and companies in Dubai were concluded, and 680 players from 24 teams participated, representing 5 different clubs from the state clubs: Shabab Al Ahli, Al Wasl, Al Nasr, Hatta, and Ajman.
Shabab Al-Ahly was crowned champion of the U-17 category, after leading the standings with nine points, scoring 12 goals in the tournament, and winning first place in the U-16 category, as well as the U-13 category title.
Al-Nasr won the U-15 category, while the U-14 category title was returned to Al-Wasl team, as well as the U-12 category.
The course witnessed the organization of a free penalty shoot-out competition after the end of each match, with the aim of developing the players' skills and mastery of penalty kicks, and identifying the qualifications of each player or goalkeeper in this aspect.
Dubai clubs contributed to the organization of the tournament's competitions by hosting matches, and providing the appropriate atmosphere for players to compete in an atmosphere identical to the official competitions through all requirements.
This session is one of the most important initiatives organized by the Dubai Council annually to develop the buds and youth sector through the early preparation of teams and players before the start of the new sports season, and aims to give the football companies in the clubs the opportunity to prepare the teams of the age groups in an appropriate manner, and an opportunity for players to participate in the largest number of matches To increase the friction between different skill levels.
