He thus won his first ATP final since that lost at the Astana Open against Australian John Millman in November 2020. The Habs, who will move up to 45th place next week, have become the oldest champion in the history of the tournament and the first Frenchman to win the title.

What to approach with more serenity the US Open which begins this Monday.

"This title is for my whole team"

"My body isn't responding as well as when I was 20, but I'm still operational," Mannarino said.

"This title is for my whole team as well as for me," he said.

"It was a great week with a lot of tough matches," said Djere, 89th in the ATP rankings.
