Danish talent Sofie Bredgaard came to Linköping in the summer of 2020, but left for Rosengård on the last day of the summer transfer window.

Since then, she has been a regular in the Malmö club, and today defeated her old team.

- There have been two very special matches.

I had a great time in Linköping and had a great time there.

At the same time, I am very happy to be in Rosengård.

I am very grateful that I was allowed to come here, she says.

The family suffered from cases of illness

One of the reasons for moving to Rosengård was to be closer to the family after an illness.

- It has been a very tough time.

It is very special and I am very happy that they can be here in the stands today and support me, she says.

"Had a really tough time"

Bredgaard believes that if you don't feel good off the pitch, it's also difficult to feel good off the pitch.

- I had a really tough time.

Sometimes there are other things that are more important than football, but at the same time I had the opportunity to go to Sweden's best team.

I took a step up in football at the same time as I got closer to the family, so it was a perfect combo, she concludes.
