The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Championship continued its successes and confirmed its position on the world stage through its current tour competitions in Miami, USA, which opened with strong and exciting competitions in the most famous cities of Florida.

The Miami tour opened with competitions for the professors, who performed at a high level on the Watsco Center.

The UAE champions added a new achievement to their record of success by winning three silver medals in the first day of the Miami Tour.

Ahmed Nasser Al-Masabi won the silver in the purple belt in the weight of 85 kg, and Ahmed Ali Al-Masabi won the silver in the weight of 77 kg, in addition to another silver obtained by Abdullah Al-Marzouki in the weight of 77 kg in the brown belt, thus making the UAE in third place at the level of countries in the masters competitions with 8400 points after Brazil and the United States of America.

The tour witnessed a distinguished presence from Omar Muhammad Karmestji, Vice President of ADNOC Group for Public Services, who participated in the ceremonies crowning the champions with medals and distributing prizes to the winners, the most prominent of whom was the Brazilian Marcos Tinoco, who won the black belt gold in middleweight in his first appearance in the 2022-2023 season.

Tariq Al-Bahri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association, praised, in a press statement, the distinguished level of the championship and the great turnout of world champions to participate, which confirms the great success achieved by the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam rounds from year to year, where the new championship is always presented.

He pointed out that the Miami tour received wide participation from various world stars, to enhance the championship this year through its various tours, including the current tour in Miami, USA.
