Malmö have been drawn into their seventh European group game in the last eleven seasons.

And the reigning Swedish champions face Braga, fourth in Portugal last season, Bundesliga fifth-placed Union Berlin, as well as Belgian Union Saint Gilloise, who finished second in the domestic league last season.

- The Belgian league is good.

When you hear the name Gilloise, you think it must be a mouthful, but you have to be clear that Gilloise is a strong team that won the league, but didn't become champions because they then have a play off in Belgium.

And they came before teams like Anderlecht, says SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog.

Gilloise debuts in Europa League group stage, just like Union Berlin.

The German capital club who qualified via their fifth place finish in the Bundesliga.

"Tough Resistance"

- They have taken steps, step by step in recent years and approached the top.

Eleventh, seventh and most recently fifth in the Bundesliga.

And so they have opened the series strongly even now.

A really tough opposition.

And from the highest seeded pot of potential teams, it was Braga for the MFF.

"Huge Europa League routine"

- Braga finished fourth last season behind giants Benfica, Sporting and Porto.

It is a team that is experienced in European play, they have huge European play routine unlike the other two teams.

What speaks for Malmö?

- Against Union Berlin and Gilloise, it is clear that they must use their fantastic routine from European games in the last decade.

And they should use it to their advantage.

Chance to move on?

- Malmö can absolutely advance, given that they are in the routine of European games.

It is important that the Malmö crowd shuts up properly, then MFF is extremely difficult to handle when they play at home.

- And they must be allowed to be injury-free, something they have not been during the spring.
