There were many question marks surrounding the Swedish national team before the opening of the WC.

Several of the questions received positive answers.

That despite a cold shower already after 81 seconds where Denmark scored 1-0.

The women's crowns responded only 30 seconds later when Hanna Olsson with a fine solo performance twisted the puck at the edge corner and got in centrally and made it 1-1 at the left post.

Sweden was dominant in the game after that.

But it would be a long time before the dividend came.

It was only when Olsson once again took hold of the game on his own that 2-1 came with six minutes left in the second period.

Olsson drove on goal, and took his own rebound to get the puck in.

And after that it went fast.

Just 19 seconds later it was 3-1 when Maja Nylén-Persson from blue found a gap in the power play.

In the third period, Sweden started at a slightly slower pace.

But despite that, captain Michelle Löwenhielm would make it 4-1 with twelve minutes left.

After a Danish reduction, Hanna Olsson would put an end to the match.

In game five against three scored his third goal of the evening, which meant 5-2 for Sweden.
