It was in connection with the fact that three unnamed players hoping to participate in the FedEx Cup playoffs sued the PGA Tour last week that the Wall Street Journal had the opportunity to take a look at one of the LIV tour's standard contracts.

One of the details that stands out is that the players are not allowed to give exclusive interviews or comments without the LIV tour's approval.

Another is that they must help recruit players for the contested tour.

And a third that they must always play in LIV-branded clothing - no matter what tour they're performing on.

For that, they are richly rewarded.

In addition to a substantial sign-on bonus that varies from player to player, the prize money on the tour is sky-high.

In addition, they are awarded a bonus of just over ten million kroner should they happen to win one of golf's four majors and indirectly give the LIV tour more attention.
