Premier League newcomers Fulham have got off to a good start in the league with two draws and one win after three rounds played.

As recently as last Saturday they defeated Brentford 3-2 at home and most were more or less convinced that League Two club Crawley Town would be cleaned out easily in the League Cup round of 32 on Tuesday.

Coach Marco Silva was on the same line, benching ten players out of eleven in the starting eleven that defeated Brentford.

Something that punished itself.

Crawley, who are second last in League Two, did not show too much respect and eventually won 2–0.

- What a night.

Little Crawley Town knock Fulham out of the Premier League.

Unbelievable, says Crawley's coach Kevin Betsy to BBC Radio 5 Live.

"I am responsible"

And they hardly need to apologize for the victory.

In fact, Fulham didn't get a single shot on target until the 92nd minute - despite 67 per cent possession.

- It's just to congratulate Crawley.

They wanted this more than us from the first minute, says Marco Silva, who blames himself for the loss.

- I am responsible for the changes in the starting eleven, I made the decisions I made.

Some gave it their all but it wasn't enough.
