Thursday, August 25, the women's crowns enter the hockey World Cup, which is played in Denmark.

They do it with an unusually young squad where previously given pieces such as goalkeeper Sara Grahn and Johanna Fällman have been selected out.

Confederation captain Ulf Lundberg and the national team management are doing this with their eyes and goals set a couple of years ahead.

- I think it is important that you dare to believe and that you dare to strive, says Ulf Lundberg to SVT Sport.

But SVT Sports expert Maria Rooth believes that the inexperienced squad may have problems.

- He talks a lot about a restart.

I can understand that.

These young girls they have no baggage with them.

I can see that it is the forward squad that will be the backbone.

It has to start somewhere.

The question is whether the routine is enough at this point.

There is a lot of routine that is gone, says SVT Sports expert Maria Rooth.

- There are more players who have to stand up and show the way.

If you lose routine, more people have to step up and I think this team needs to learn that.

More players need to contribute for it to go well.
