In the previous home match against Sundsvall, on August 7, Mohanad Jeahze jumped in and was booed off.

Now he made it 1-0 after two minutes and made the crowd cheer.

It has been an eventful month for Hammarby's Mohanad Jeahze.

It began when the left-back was said to refuse to train and play to force a move abroad at the end of July.

- I made a couple of ill-considered decisions, the defender said later when he was back in training.

Agent's Comment

Before Monday's match at home against Degerfors, his agent Blash Hosseini gave his version in the Discovery+ studio.

He believes that Jeahze never refused to train:

- We agreed with Hammarby that he would not train during the time that was negotiated with Besiktas.

I understand the Hammarby supporters because they have not known the truth.

Mohanad has handled this exemplary.

He took the criticism and apologized.

But the excuse was not because he refused to train.

He apologized for all the aftermath, he says.

Hosseini's company also has Anthony van den Hurk, who forced himself away from Helsingborg, in his stable.

The agent has been heavily criticized and has also been ported from Skånelaget's home arena, Olympia.

- I have absolutely no understanding of Helsingborg.

Series management

Tonight's victory for Hammarby was Jeahze's first start at home since he was suspended by the club.

- We've practiced all this stuff so it's nice that it fits, he says of his goal.

After the lead goal, Hammarby continued to attack at full speed.

Nahir Besara made it 2-0 after 26 minutes, before the visitors showed they could threaten.

Albin Mörfelt reduced via a counter attack before half time.

Hammarby scored 3–1 after just over an hour of play through new acquisition Veton Berisha.

The striker also made it 4-1 after fine preparatory work from Jeahze in particular.

The match ended 5–1, after Abdelrahman Saidi completed the scoring.
