Nice Sunday for the French open water swimming team.
The Tricolores won three medals at the European Open Water Swimming Championships in Ostia in the Rome region: silver with Marc-Antoine Olivier over 10 km and bronze twice with Logan Fontaine, also over 10 km then in the mixed relay, won by Italy's Domenico Acerenza, already crowned in the 10 km.
The German Leonie Beck was crowned in the women's 10 km race, ahead of the Italian Ginevra Taddeucci and the Portuguese Angélica André.
Frenchwomen Madelon Catteau (8th) and Aurélie Muller (9th), both subsequently bronze in the mixed relay, only touched the finish plate a minute later.

For Marc-Antoine Olivier, this is the second medal of this Italian meeting after the bronze gleaned the day before in the 5 km in open water, only half a second ahead... Logan Fontaine, happier on Sunday with also two medals.
