Many injuries do not worry the Juventus coach

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is not worried about the absence of some of his players from the squad, with the increasing number of injuries in his team, which is preparing to face its host Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A tomorrow.

Veteran Argentine Angel Di Maria became the last player to join the injury list at Juventus.

Di Maria injured his thigh muscles in his first appearance in the Italian league after scoring a goal and setting up a scoring opportunity in the Turin club's 3-0 victory over Sassuolo in the first round of the season.

Among the main absentees is Paul Pogba, whose return to the Italian league was delayed due to a torn knee ligament, along with first goalkeeper Wojciech Stencini.

"Injuries are part of the season and I'm not worried about all of that," Allegri told reporters today. "We have attacking players. It doesn't matter how many strikers we have, but the number of players attacking the penalty spot."

Allegri expressed his hope for the return of prominent striker Federico Chiesa, who has been absent due to a torn ligament since last January, before the start of the World Cup finals in November.

Chiesa is expected to be back by January at the latest.

"We cannot dream," Allegri added. "I'm very realistic. So far I can't count on Federico."
