It was not ideal success for Robert Dahlgren in Saturday's competitions at Gelleråsen.

After finishing second behind junior champion Oliver Söderström in the first race, he falsely started in the second and received a penalty which resulted in him finishing eighth.

In the third, however, order was restored when Dahlgren, who started from pole position, led from start to finish.

- The third race was absolutely fantastic, the team gave me a perfect car that allowed me to control the race from start to finish.

Unfortunately I had a problem at the start of the second race which caused the car to move a bit before the lights went out.

That's how it is in racing sometimes and despite that we managed to extend the lead in the championship, which was the goal for the weekend, says Robert Dahlgren to STCC's website.

In the drivers' championship, Robert Dahlgren has extended his lead to 47 points over Mattias Andersson, who in turn is closely followed by Tobias Brink and Oliver Söderström in shared third place, just one point behind.

Close behind in fifth place is Andreas Bäckman, another two points behind.
