The first period against Finland was the Junior crowns' best for the tournament.

In an even period, Sweden was the best in five-on-five games, but still failed to find the back of the net.

And it probably felt all the more difficult in the second period when Finland took over more and more.

Because when Finland was in command, then the goal came.

After a dubious sending off for six men on the field, Kasper Puutio would, in a turn of the game in the power play, fold in from the left wing and pry the puck under Jesper Wallstedt in the Swedish box.

The junior crowns had a dream position to equalize at the end of the period.

Play five against three for just over a minute and a half.

But more than three finishes where the goalkeeper had a clear view, Sweden did not succeed, and Finland held out until the break.

In the third period, Sweden went for an equaliser, but never managed to outwit Juha Latkola in the box.

And when Sweden pressed on, it was actually Finland who, with turns of the game, were closer to the goal.

But Wallstedt continued to play great, and the two pucks he didn't take himself were taken care of by the post and crossbar.

Finland won 1-0 and now faces Canada in the final.

For Sweden, it is the Czech Republic in the bronze medal match, a match SVT broadcasts starting at 22.00 today, Saturday.
