In the 20th minute, Varberg's Filipe Sissé collided with Djurgården's Hampus Finndell.

The Varberg player lay down and Finndell was awarded a yellow card by referee Victor Wolf.

Right then and there, several Varbergs players reacted to the studs that hit the chest.

The situation may have been decisive given that Djurgården scored an equalizing goal to make it 2-2 in extra time.

After the match, Joakim Persson was clear with his opinion.

- One of the clearest red cards in this year's Allsvenskan, but he refuses to show a red card despite a stretched leg in his chest.

It is clear that it affects the match, he says according to the Football Channel.

"You're just exhausted"

- The rules have changed to protect the players, and you don't manage to see it that way.

You are just exhausted.

Finndell was replaced in the second half against Besard Sabovic and afterwards he did not want to comment much on whether he thought it would be a red card.

- I haven't seen the sequence and I'm not the one making the decisions either.

It was unfortunate that I met him.
