One step separates Zamalek from winning the Egyptian League title

The Egyptian Zamalek team came close to achieving the Egyptian League title for the second time in a row, after defeating Farco with a goal for free, in the 31st week of the Egyptian League competition, in the match that brought the two teams together at the Max Stadium in Alexandria.

With this victory, Zamalek strengthened its position at the top of the Egyptian League standings, after its score reached 75 points, while Farco froze in eighth place with 40 points, and the team achieved 10 consecutive victories, and Zamalek scored the only goal of the match in the first half with a goal scored by defender Hossam Abdel Majid with a header. In the 18th minute, after following a cross by his colleague Ahmed Sayed Zizou from a corner kick, Zamalek maintained their lead in the second half, ending the match with a single goal.

The Zamalek team needs to win or draw during its next match against Al Ittihad of Alexandria in the league in order to win the league title for the 14th time in its history.
