On Tuesday, Emma Gullstrand took silver in the one-meter breaststroke at the European Swimming Championships in Rome.

Then Emilia Nilsson Garip finished in fifth place.

Two days later, she also got to step on the podium.

Paired with Elna Widerström, Nilsson Garip won bronze in the women's synchronized three-meter sculls.

The Swedish duo collected a total of 257.70 points, holding off fourth place Great Britain by a paltry 0.3 point margin.

Germany's Lena Hentschel and Tina Punzel took the gold by a landslide – 281.16 points – nearly eleven points ahead of home favorites Elena Bertocchi and Chiara Pellacani, who both claimed individual medals in the one-metre floor earlier in the week.

On Friday, the individual three-meter hurdles will be decided, then with both Nilsson Garip and Gullstrand in the qualifiers, which begin at 10 a.m.
