Jassim Al Hosani wins gold in the World Mixed Martial Arts Championship

The UAE champions continued their strong and distinguished march in the World Junior Martial Arts Championship, currently held in Abu Dhabi, and added two medals (gold and silver) to their balance in this edition of the tournament.

Today's competitions were continued by Sheikh Hamdan bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, and were attended by Mohammed bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Mixed Martial Arts Committee of the UAE Federation of Jujitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, Abdulaziz Julidan, President of the Saudi Federation of Mixed Martial Arts, and Muhammad Qambar, President of the Bahrain Federation of Mixed Martial Arts.

Jassim Al Hosani won the gold medal in the 67kg category in the under-16 category, after defeating the strongest American in this weight category, Joseph Powers, in the final.

Abdullah Al Darmaki won the silver in the 40 kg category in the under-16 category, after losing in the final to the strong player of Tajikistan, Farhoudi.


The UAE's balance in the current tournament rose to 4 colored medals, with Zayed Al Hammadi (13 years old), bronze under 48 kg, and Zayed Al Dhabari (12 years old), bronze under 37 kg, the day before yesterday, with the opening of the activities of this tournament.
