In a press statement, Obaid Al Hammadi stressed the strength of the competitions in light of the presence of some Olympic champions, including the Turkish Gazouz, the gold medalist of the Tokyo Olympics, and said: "We hope to provide more distinguished results and benefit from this forum in the best possible way."

In the field of fencing, Khalifa Al-Zarouni lost from the first-ranked Moroccan Hossam Al-Kurd in the round of 32 in the Ibi competition, while Abdullah Al-Hamadi defeated the seventh-ranked Azerbaijani Qaliev Barat in the round of 32, and lost to the tenth-ranked Uzbek Muminov Nurbrick in the round of 16.

The duo of the swimming team, Mahra Al-Shehhi and Maha Al-Shehhi, finished the semi-finals of the women's 100m race with a time of 1:04:34 and 1:05.76, respectively, while Mira Al-Shehhi achieved 30.75 seconds in the women's 50-meter butterfly, and Saeed Ahmed Farag achieved a time of 26.22 in the 50 race.
