Kristian Karlsson and Stina Källberg fell to unseeded Slovenia's Deni Kozul and Katarina Strazar with 1–3.
Karlsson/Källberg won the first game but then had little to resist when Kozul/Strazar won three straight games.
Then Truls Möregårdh and Linda Bergström also went out against tougher opposition, seeded German Dang Qiu and Nina Mittelham, with 2–3.
The Swedish duo won the first game, but after that it was difficult.
2–1 after three games gave hope for a Swedish victory, but Qiu and Mittelham would pick up the deficit and then arrange a victory.
The Swedes continue to compete in the singles and doubles tournament next week.
