She was clearly the fastest of all in the trial this morning, but in the afternoon semi-final, Louise Hansson didn't shine as much, even though she won her semi-final relatively comfortably.

- There is a lot to work on before the final.

I can add significantly more before the race, the turn was not perfect and on the way home I just tried to keep the pace.

Tomorrow the goal is to go out a little faster and then work harder on the way home, when I get to 75 meters it's just a matter of hitting my legs and driving to the finish line, says Hansson, who was 55 hundredths behind World Cup runner-up Marie Wattel from France, who won the second semi-final.

- I can absolutely match her time and do faster times than that.

It will be fun to drive even though I know it will be tough.

Her self-confidence is at its peak and she comes from a really good WC where she had pole.

She has the confidence but I have the hunger, says Hansson.

However, there will be no final for Sara Junevik, but she at least improved her time from the attempt by 33 hundredths.

- I feel strong even though I wanted to go below my personal record.

It's going in the right direction, but I have to get better at keeping my stamina during the last 50 instead of losing so much at the end, says Junevik to SVT Sport.
