It was a tough day at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship for Switzerland, who have now suffered two straight defeats in the tournament.
A goalless first period that gave hope of an even match against the reigning champions USA was quickly forgotten when the second period became an American goal feast.
The 1-5 deficit that Switzerland entered the final break with then became overwhelming.
The USA would slide and put two more pucks in the final period and then pick up their second straight win of the tournament.
