KDFF dominated large parts of the home meeting with Vittsjö but had despairingly difficult to get the ball in despite a lot of hot goal chances.

It took until the 54th minute before they finally managed to break the deadlock through Canadian Evelyne Viens, her seventh goal in the last six games.

A quarter of an hour later, Sheila van den Bulk had the chance to extend the lead but her penalty was too badly hit and instead of a calm victory parade, KDFF were forced to fight tooth and nail to keep the three points.

Vittsjö did not have much possession, but they still managed to create a couple of hot equalizing chances at the end of the match.

However, KDFF managed to hold off and with the victory, which was the team's ninth in a row in the Damallsvenskan, they are now on the same points as league leader Rosengård.

The latter, however, can make a small move again as they have played two games less than KDFF.

- We created many chances and should have scored more goals, but we won and that's what matters, says Viens to Viaplay.
