The Saudi Football Association announced today, in cooperation with Sport Radar, a company specialized in integrity solutions and sports data, the launch of the “SAFF Integrity” application for smart phones, starting from the next sports season 2022-2023.
The Saudi Federation stated on its official website that this new application complies with the highest international standards in applications used by the International Football Association "FIFA" and the Asian Football Confederation, as it allows players, administrators and fans to inform the Federation of any suspicious cases related to integrity and in a safe manner. and intact.
The Saudi Federation had signed a partnership agreement with Sport Radar to enhance the Federation’s efforts in protecting the integrity of Saudi football competitions, benefiting from the company’s services, and providing the Integrity Unit of the Saudi Federation with a risk assessment of the necessary information, according to an advanced match monitoring system.
The Competent Integrity Unit in the Saudi Federation, consisting of experienced lawyers from the Legal Affairs and Governance Department in the Federation, will be responsible for dealing with the reports and communications received through the application and initiating any necessary procedures in accordance with the discipline and ethics regulations approved by the Saudi Federation.
SportRadar, one of the largest companies in the world leagues and continental tournaments to monitor matches, signed last year a partnership agreement with the Asian Football Confederation for an 8-year period for all of its tournaments, in addition to its current agreement with the International Football Association.
The company is scheduled to link the promotion of protection and integrity through an electronic system that allows reporting any doubts about the integrity of any match, in addition to the digital data monitored by the system. Teams, players, match officials and other Saudi Football Association officials and key stakeholders educate on the importance of integrity through a series of educational webinars delivered in both Arabic and English.
