Midfielder Besard Sabovic's new contract extends to the 2024 season. It will be the first time he plays in Djurgården since he left for Mjällby in 2020.
- I have been at home in Stockholm for a while, trained with the team and have watched every home game on site and the away games on TV and thought that I just want to get started as soon as possible, he says.
Sabovic came to Djurgården from Brommapojkarna as a junior.
After Mjällby, he has managed to represent Turkish Kayserispor and Russian Khimki.
He has made U21 internationals for both North Macedonia and Sweden.
- Besard has been here and trained with us since the end of May.
He is already part of the group and knows a lot of people, so it will be a natural step.
