Peder Fredricson, Malin Baryard Johnsson, Jens Fredricson and Henrik von Eckermann.

It is the quartet that is riding for the medals in the riders' WC.

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson has to settle for the role of reserve, the one he also had in Tokyo last year when the national team won the Olympic gold after a dramatic jump-off against the USA.

- We have a warm-up tomorrow and after that I will announce which four will ride, but the plan is that it will be Malin, Peder, Henrik and Jens, as long as nothing unforeseen happens, says Henrik Ankarcrona.

- Rolf is on standby until one hour before the first class starts.

The reason for the choice

The battle for fourth place has been between Bengtsson and Jens Fredricson during the spring and summer.

Ankarcrona on its choice:

- It has actually leaned towards it the whole time.

Jens had a good championship, indoors in and of itself (third in the World Cup final in Leipzig), and has had a smooth and nice form curve.

Rolf-Göran's horse has not done as much but has looked good in recent races.

- I think that it is better for the team with Jens, continues the national team captain.

The jumping begins with the time jumping on Wednesday and is decided late on Friday evening.

The individual final will be decided in two rounds on Sunday.
