Kim Joo-hyung, who entered the final round with two shots behind the leader Seong-jae Lim, took the lead with a birdie from the 2nd hole to the 3rd hole in a row with an elaborate putt.

And after he 'two-on' the iron on the par 5 and 5th holes, he added a 2.3m eagle putt to widen the gap.

As Lim Seong-jae caught up with a shot eagle in the same hole and caught up by one stroke, Kim Joo-hyung showed more concentration and performed a thrilling birdie show.

Kim Joo-hyeong, who took the lead with a phenomenal drive that cut a whopping eight strokes from nine holes in the first half, managed to win his first PGA Tour victory by five strokes over Im Seong-jae and Korean-American John Hur.

Born in 2002, 20 years and 1 month old, Kim Joo-hyung became the second youngest winner on the PGA Tour, two months behind Jordan Spieth.

He is the youngest Korean player to win, surpassing Kim Si-woo, who won his first win at the age of 21.

[Kim Joo-hyung: I didn't really think about winning.

I didn't expect it to come so soon, but I'm so happy and thankful that it came so quickly.]

Kim Joo-hyung, who was a temporary member of the PGA Tour, obtained full membership with a prize money of 1.7 billion won, and was able to participate in the playoffs starting this week.

Kim Joo-hyeong, who won the youngest championship in Korean men's professional golf history two years ago and swept the prize money and grand prize last year, is rapidly growing as a signboard of Korean men's golf by reaching the top of the PGA at the age of 20.
