In June, Jiri Prochazka became the UFC light heavyweight champion after defeating brass Glover Teixeira via choke in the fifth and final round.

The victory was his 13th in a row in his MMA career and now the Czech has grown into one of the sport's biggest stars.

At the same time, he stands out from the crowd with his special way of approaching the martial arts and its traditions.

- My trainer gave me "The Book of the Five Rings" by Miyamoto Musashi, who is a famous samurai.

I began to study his teachings and incorporate much of it into my own life.

For example, how to be a good person, how to be a good fighter.

It's not just about the physical training, but also about working with your emotions and the mental.

But I'm not unique, I'm just myself, says Prochazka to SVT Sport.
