On the third day of the Asian Judo Championships, Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Teru Sone won the women's over 78-kilogram class, winning all four weight categories in which Japanese athletes competed.

The Asian Judo Championships held in Kazakhstan took place on the 6th, the third day of competition, with Japanese athletes competing in four weight classes for men and women.

Of these, in the women's over 78-kilometer class, Sone faced a real battle for the first time since last year's Tokyo Olympics, where she won the gold medal, and advanced to the final to face a Chinese player.

Sone used techniques from the early stages against an opponent who was superior in height and won by ippon with ``taiotoshi'', and won the comeback match with a victory.

In addition, Sanshiro Murao in the men's 90kg class, Shin Kageura in the men's over 100kg class, and Mami Umeki in the women's 78kg class also won, all four weight classes in which Japanese athletes competed.

At the Asian Judo Championships, the individual competitions ended, and Japanese athletes won 4 weight classes for men and 5 weight classes for women.
