This autumn, Sweden's biggest star returns to the handball league.

Two months ago, her Danish club Vipers Kristiansand won the Champions League final.

After European Championship 2020, Gulldén refused to continue playing for the national team and now she has wound down her brilliant international career where she won major titles during a decade at the top of Europe.

Now games await at a lower level.

Moved to be closer to sister

Bella Gulldén moved home for family reasons.

The 33-year-old wanted to be close to his sister, who suffered from cancer.

Because the sister lives in Skåne, it was a game in Lugi for Gulldén, who was otherwise mostly associated with his parent club Sävehof.

Now the time in Lugi has gotten off to the best imaginable start.

- We received positive news regarding my sister's cancer.

She is free of cancer, even if she cannot be fully declared healthy yet, because it was an aggressive variant she suffered, she tells Sydsvenskan and continues:

- I've been flying on clouds all this week.
