The Saudi national team faces Qatar in the “Gulf Youth Basketball” final in Dubai

The Saudi team hit a date with Qatar at 6:30 pm tomorrow in the final of the Gulf Youth Basketball Championship (under 18 years), which is currently being held at Al-Wasl Club Hall in Dubai, after they overcame today the semi-final obstacle, with the victory of "Al-Akhdar" over Kuwait (70-50). And "Al Annabi" beat the defending champion Bahrain by 37 points, with a score of (85-48).

The Kuwaiti team missed the opportunity to end the first quarter with a three-point lead, with a result (13-10), after the Saudi team succeeded in restoring its balance, imposing its rhythm on the rest of the meeting, and taking the advantage with the results of the second and third quarters, and then the fourth quarter by 19-17 and 23 -10 and 10-18).

The Qatari team achieved absolute preference over the results of the first quarter and then the third and fourth quarters by (27-7, 22-8 and 21-12), while Bahrain players were satisfied with the preference for the result of the second quarter by (21-15).

The Saudi and Qatari teams had previously met last Tuesday in the preliminary round in the third round, in a match during which the Qataris managed to snatch a victory (79-55).
