Many probably expected a goal celebration when Hammarby met Värnamo at home, given that the away team conceded eight goals in two games.

However, Värnamo started briskly and Ajdin Zeljkovic shot into the crossbar after only a few minutes.

The half was otherwise fairly even, and Hammarby didn't create much more than a bunch of long shots.

Booed by the crowd

Robin Tihi in Värnamo, on loan from AIK, was sometimes booed by the home crowd.

Probably because of his own goal against AIK last weekend.

- Of course I hear it.

I also saw some banner towards me.

It spurs you on, so it's good, he tells Discovery Plus during a break.

In the second half, "Bajen" steamed on and created some dangerous chances.

The most dangerous was Nahir Besara who managed to poke Värnamos goalkeeper Pilip Vatsiakohovich in the head from a meter.

Berisha made his debut

With a quarter to go, Hammarby's talked-about new acquisition Veton Berisha had to make his debut.

However, it was another striker who left an impression on the match.

With fifteen minutes left in the match, Marcus Antonsson ran free and made it 1-0 for Värnamo.

Hammarby looked set to settle for a point after all when Nahir Besara equalized from a penalty in the 89th minute.

But Antonsson became a big hero for Värnamo, and made it 2-1 on the volley after a cross from Edvin Becirovic.
