This is the first time that Korean women athletes have collaborated on team medals at the World Championships.

The Korea Modern Pentathlon Federation said, "Unlike the men's division, the women's division, which was concerned about international competitiveness because generational change did not take place well, was energized by the joining of Kim Se-hee (BNK Savings Bank) and Kim Seon-woo, Sung Seung-min, who graduated from high school this year, and Jang Ha-eun, a three-year-old high school student. We are infusing it,” he said, conveying the meaning of this medal.

In the men's team event, our team, consisting of Jeon Woong-tae (Gwangju Metropolitan City Hall), Jeong Jin-hwa (Korea Land and Housing Corporation), and Seo Chang-wan (Jeonnam Provincial Office), placed 6th, and the prize was not awarded.

The victory was won by France.

In the men's division, Jinhwa Jeong finished 14th and Woongtae Jeon finished 17th, while Haeun Jang finished 13th, Seungmin Seong 15th and Seonwoo Kim 17th in the women's division.
