Omasa participated in the tournament held in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture on the 30th, and marked 5 seconds 47 in the qualifying round, breaking his own Japanese record of 0 seconds 11.



In the final tournament where the top 16 players competed, it was raining and the humidity was high, and while many players slipped one after another, Omasa set a succession of good times and won the final, 5 seconds 42, which was even faster than the qualifying, and set a new Japan record. I won the record.



Omasa said, "I wanted to win the local tournament, and I also wanted to attack and set a time, so I'm really happy that I was able to achieve both. I'm still confident that I can do it, so I'll break the record at the next tournament. I want to aim for."
