It has been decided that Junya ITO, who plays an important role in attacking the Japanese national football team, will be transferred to Stade Reims in the French first division league.

29-year-old Ito is a player on the right side who can score goals with dribbling that takes advantage of his outstanding speed and high-precision crossballs.

In last year's Asian qualifiers, he scored in four straight games, tying the record for most Japanese players, and greatly contributed to Japan's participation in the finals.

Ito played for Genk in the Belgian First Division league until the middle of this season, playing an active role as a central player in attack.

And on the 29th, French 1st Division Stade Reims announced that it had signed a four-year contract with Ito.

Takumi Minamino, who represents Japan in the French First Division, has been playing in Monaco since this season.
