Bayern Munich, with Sadio Mané scoring for their first official match, won 5-3 (half-time: 3-0) against Leipzig on the lawn of the Red Bull Arena, and won their 10th German Super Cup , Saturday night.
Julian Nagelsmann's players took control of the game in the first half with goals from Jamal Musiala (15th), Sadio Mané (31st) and Benjamin Pavard (45th).
Marcel Halstenberg (59th) reduced the score for Leipzig before Serge Gnabry restored a three-goal lead to Munich (66th).
Christophe Nkunku (77th on penalty) and Dani Olmo (89th) revived the hosts, but Leroy Sané (90+8) put an end to Leipzig's hopes.
