The Swedish coach Johannes Lukas and the Italian Lukas Hofer, with almost 400 World Cup starts, have known each other for a long time and when they started talking about this possibility last spring, it became a matter of course from both sides that Hofer would be there to train with the Swedes.

- I am impressed by their professionalism, they are focused every day on every training session.

It's not like in Italy, if you say eight o'clock here, everyone is here at eight o'clock, in Italy there will definitely be someone who arrives five minutes late, says Lukas Hofer.

Ponsiluoma sees things to learn

Apart from the fact that Martin Ponsiluoma thinks that Lukas Hofer is a happy and pleasant guy who constantly spreads a positive energy, there is a lot to learn from him when it comes to biathlon.

- Above all, we have seen in the downhill runs, where he is incredibly good.

You've had some aha experiences, that here we have a bit to work on, says Martin Ponsiluoma.

Lukas Hofer sees that his role has changed somewhat since he arrived.

- From the beginning I was the outcast, I will always be the Italian who entered the group, but I have received a really warm welcome from everyone, I am very happy to be here and I hope it continues like this, says Hofer.
