The Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Women's Sports held its third meeting, headed by Noura Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women's Union and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Women's Sports, at the headquarters of the General Women's Union in Abu Dhabi, and discussed a number of topics and development plans to foresee a better future for women's sports in the country.

The Board of Directors approved the executive plan for activities and events during the coming period, and the website of the Emirates Women's Sports Federation was launched, and all UAE players were invited to join and register on the website UWSF.AE.

The executive plan included many goals, the most prominent of which are six axes: gender equality in the field of sports, the advancement of Emirati and Arab women’s sports, the promotion of women’s participation in sports activities, the strengthening of the state’s reputation and the status of the Federation, the improvement of the performance of technical cadres and rulers, and the support of women in administrative organizations. for sports institutions.

For her part, Noura Al-Suwaidi confirmed: “The Federation is also working on developing a plan to discover and care for talented athletes, to represent the country in continental, international, Olympic and Paralympic tournaments, and to organize workshops, courses, training programs and conferences for national cadres, including technicians and administrators, and all participants in women’s sports of all kinds, and to form committees. Internal and external affairs of all kinds, to achieve the goals of the Federation, support and encourage all scientific research and studies related to women’s sports, develop, develop and host community sports, strive to support and develop it, and represent the state in international, regional and national meetings, events and conferences related to women’s sports.

The meeting was attended by Vice President Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Secretary General Mona Al Shamsi, Chairperson of the Strategic Planning and Information Technology Committees, Ghalia Al Mannai, Chairperson of the Legal Committee, Hind Al Alili, Chairperson of the Competitions Committee, Assila Al Hashemi, and Head of the Marketing and Sponsorship Committee, Fatima Al Ali.
