Professional baseball player Yakult announced that it has been confirmed that third-year pitcher Yasunobu Okugawa and veteran pitcher Masanori Ishikawa have been newly infected with the new coronavirus.
According to the team, pitcher Okugawa had a fever on the 27th, so a PCR test was conducted and the result was positive.

Both of them are currently leaving the team for medical treatment.
