Al-Ahly of Egypt: Hussein Al-Shahat underwent a successful knee cartilage surgery
Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, head of the medical staff for the first football team in the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, announced that Hussein Al-Shahat, the team’s player, underwent successful surgery on the internal cartilage of the knee today, Thursday, at Aspire Hospital in Qatar.
Abu Abla said in statements to his club's official website today, Thursday, that Al-Shahat arrived in Doha yesterday, Wednesday, and underwent all medical examinations before performing the surgery today.
Al-Ahly’s medical staff, led by Abu Abla, had confirmed that Al-Shahat had a complete cut in the knee cartilage, before the El-Gouna match postponed from the ninth week of the league competition, which was held on July 5.
