Mohanad Jeahze was in the starting line-up for Sunday's away meeting with Varberg, but did not warm up with the team and then sat on the bench for the entire match.

The club was tight-lipped about the reason afterwards, but according to Aftonbladet, the 25-year-old refused to play with the aim of moving abroad instead.

Now Hammarby has acted against the successful defender and suspended him indefinitely.

The club does not want to comment on the information.

- If we have something to communicate, we do it in our own channels, says sports manager Jesper Jansson to Aftonbladet.

According to Expressen, for example, Turkish Besiktas have made an offer for Jeahze.
