Carazor returns to Stuttgart after being released in Spain

German football club Stuttgart confirmed today, Tuesday, that midfielder Atakan Karazor has returned to the ranks of the team after his release in Spain.

The club stated that it will speak with the player about the possibility of him returning to training, while also undergoing fitness tests.

Carazor missed the team's pre-season training because of his arrest last June on the Spanish island of Ibiza on suspicion of sexual assault.

Carazor was released on bail a few days ago but must remain available to the Spanish authorities.

Stuttgart said in June that Carazor denied all allegations against him.

Carazor, 25, became a key element in Stuttgart last season, which the team finished in fifteenth place in the German League.

Stuttgart will start its campaign in the new season by meeting the third-tier team Dynamo Dresden next Friday in the first round of the German Cup, while it will play its first match in the league against RB Leipzig on the seventh of August.
