Juventus international midfielder Paul Pogba has been hit in the right knee and will not travel to Texas for the Bianconeri to face Barcelona in a friendly, the Italian club said on Monday.
“Following reported pain in the right knee, Paul Pogba underwent radiological examinations which revealed a lesion of the lateral meniscus”, indicates Juve on its website.
“He will undergo an orthopedic consultation in the next few hours,” the club said.
Pogba will miss Barca
The "Old Lady", currently on a summer tour in the United States, must temporarily leave California for Texas, in Dallas, where she must face FC Barcelona in a friendly match on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday.
But the French community will not be on the trip.
Revealed in Turin between 2012 and 2016, Pogba returned to Juventus this summer after six mixed years at Manchester United.
Massimiliano Allegri's team beat the Mexican club Chivas de Guadalajara (2-0) on Saturday for the return under its colors of the French midfielder, who played the first period.
