Just before the Olympics in Beijing earlier this year, Heidi Weng was affected by covid-19.

This caused her to miss the Olympic Games.

Just a month or so later – in March – she hit her head on the ice on her way to a training session.

- The status today is that she is patient and puts in the time she needs.

We don't take any risks, Norwegian national team doctor Ove Feragen told VG in May, about nine weeks after the case.

Now she is back for good, announces the Norwegian national team.

- It's going better and better, and now the plan is for her to compete during the Blink festival.

She is, so to speak, in normal training and ready to compete again, says national team coach Stig Rune Kveen to Adresseavisen.
