Khaddi Sagnia stood for an impressive qualification in Eugene, as she passed the qualification limit in her first attempt.

In the final, however, she started with a rough overstep, but after 6.69 in the second it was clear that Sagnia would have to complete all six jumps.

In fifth, she hit 6.87, which was also her best mark.

It was enough for a sixth place in the final – two centimeters from the WC bronze, which was won by Leticia Oro Melo.

German Malaika Mihambo won in 7.12 and Nigerian Ese Brume was second in 7.02.

- It was a great result to finish with, but I am absolutely not satisfied with the position.

I should have started a little earlier to feel safe, says Sagnia to SVT Sport.

"Didn't tie my shoes"

In the fourth attempt, things went wrong for Khaddi Sagnia, who only had four seconds when she started the approach.

- I was standing and talking to Katrin (Klaup, coach), while I was doing that I didn't know that they changed the order ... I hadn't tied my shoes or anything, she says.

SVT's expert Christian Olsson on the situation:

- Small mistake in the fourth round when she does not agree that they change the jump order.

You have to keep an eye on that.

But it is clearly an approved result, says SVT's expert Christian Olsson.
