Many have had high expectations for Fridolina Rolfö during the EC.
Which is not surprising given that she won the Diamond Ball last year, plays for FC Barcelona, and was dominant in last summer's Olympics.
But during the EC, she has not made her best efforts in the national team shirt.
Gerhardsson believes that the opposing teams have chosen to put extra focus on marking out Rolfö, and that this is an explanation behind her performances.

Defending his star
The league captain does not want to fully admit that Rolfö's efforts have been worse than usual, and believes that it is small margins that determine how a player appears.

Gerhardsson continues to have great confidence in the 28-year-old, and sends a pass to England ahead of the semi-finals.
